Apple recently launched four new models under the iPhone 17 series.
These new models come with attractive designs, colors, and advanced features, all of which are now listed on the Apple Store.
Along with the launch, Apple has also removed some older iPhone models from its official website.
However, this doesn’t mean these phones are completely discontinued.
You can still buy them from authorized Apple retailers, online platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, and other stores—at least until existing stock runs out.
Which iPhones Are No Longer on Apple’s Website?
Apple has taken down the following three models from its official website:
iPhone 16 Pro
iPhone 16 Pro Max
iPhone 15 (base model)
These phones are no longer available for purchase directly from Apple, but they remain on sale through other retail and online channels while supplies last.
This is part of Apple’s regular practice of phasing out older models to promote newer ones.
Apple Intelligence and Performance Upgrades
Interestingly, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max supported Apple Intelligence—Apple’s new smart technology that uses a combination of AI models and user data to enhance the phone experience.
If you’re looking to use Apple Intelligence now, you’ll need to buy one of the newer iPhone 17 models.
The new iPhone 17 series and the iPhone Air come with upgraded processors.
The base iPhone 17 model is powered by the A19 chip, which is 20% faster than the previous A18 chip.
Meanwhile, the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro use the A19 Pro processor, offering up to 40% better performance than before.
iPhone Air: Ultra-Thin and Lightweight
The iPhone Air is getting a lot of attention for its ultra-slim design.
It is just 5.6mm thick, even thinner than the Samsung S25 Edge, which measures 5.8mm.
Despite being so slim, the iPhone Air features a sturdy Grade 5 titanium frame and even includes an action button.
Apple has also highlighted how lightweight the phone is, making it both stylish and functional.
