Apple has officially launched the iOS 18.4 update, bringing significant improvements to its devices.
This update introduces Apple Intelligence features in Indian languages, including English, Hindi, and a combination of both.
With iOS 18.4, eligible iPhones in India can now access advanced AI-powered tools, enhanced Siri capabilities, and improved image generation features.

Additionally, Apple Intelligence features are now available on MacBooks and iPads equipped with M-series chips through the latest macOS 15.4 and iPadOS 18.4 updates.
How to Update and Enable iOS 18.4 To update your iPhone to iOS 18.4, follow these steps:
Open Settings on your iPhone.
Tap on General and go to the Software Update section.
If the iOS 18.4 update is available, you will see an option to Download and Install. Tap to start the process.
Once the download is complete, choose to update immediately, install later, or select “Remind Me Later.”
Tap Install to proceed.
Enter your passcode if prompted.
Once updated, go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri and ensure that “Apple Intelligence” is enabled.
Key Features in iOS 18.4
With iOS 18.4, Apple Intelligence supports multiple languages, including English (India
and Singapore), Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese. The new update introduces the following features:
Siri Upgrade: Siri is now smarter and more interactive, providing natural responses. It is also integrated with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, allowing it to handle complex commands more efficiently.
Writing Tools: The update introduces AI-powered writing tools in emails, messages, notes,
and third-party apps. Users can quickly rewrite, proofread, and summarize text, with additional grammar and proofreading support.
Visual Intelligence: Users can point their camera at objects or locations to receive relevant information.
The Photos app also includes a Clean Up tool to remove unwanted elements from pictures.
Genmoji and Image Playground: A fun AI feature that lets users create custom emojis using text prompts.
The Genmoji feature allows users to generate emojis based on descriptions, while the Image Playground tool enhances image generation capabilities.
In addition to these, Apple Intelligence offers other useful features such as Priority Mail, Notification Summary, and enhanced Image Playground tools.
