Apple Discontinues MacBook Air M2 and M3

There’s disappointing news for Apple’s MacBook fans. Apple has officially announced that it will no longer sell the MacBook Air M2 and MacBook Air M3.

This decision comes after the company launched the new MacBook Air with the M4 chip on Wednesday.

The latest MacBook Air M4 is available in 13-inch and 15-inch variants, with prices starting at ₹99,900 in India.

With this launch, Apple has removed the MacBook Air M2 and M3 from its official website, meaning they are no longer available for direct purchase from Apple.

Where Can You Still Buy MacBook Air M2 and M3?

Even though Apple has discontinued these models, you can still buy the MacBook Air M2 and M3 from e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital, as well as from various offline retail stores.

If you already own a MacBook Air M2 or M3, there’s no need to worry. Apple will continue to provide software and security updates for these models, ensuring they remain functional and secure.

Features of MacBook Air M2 and M3

Apple introduced the MacBook Air M3 lineup in March this year, offering both 13-inch and 15-inch models.

The company is expected to release M4-powered models around the same time next year.

In terms of hardware, the M3 MacBook Air has a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with a peak brightness of 500 nits.

It comes with a 512GB SSD for storage, while the M2 variant includes a 256GB SSD

Both models feature a MagSafe 3 charging port and two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports for connectivity.
