Apple has introduced the new iPhone 16 series, which includes four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
During the same event, Apple announced the release of the iOS 18 software update, which will start rolling out next week.
The new operating system brings customization options and AI-powered features.
One of the highlights is the ChatGPT-powered Siri assistant, which will be available in iOS 18.
iOS 18 Update for iPhone Models
Apple has confirmed that iOS 18 will first be available on the latest iPhone 16 series, followed by older models.
However, some features, especially those related to artificial intelligence (AI), will not work on all older devices due to hardware limitations.

7) iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone XR
8) iPhone SE (2nd Gen or later)
Note that AI features will only be available on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
iOS 18 Rollout Date and Features
The iOS 18 update will start rolling out on September 16. Users will be able to customize everything from the home screen to the lock screen and control center.
The update will also include new visual effects, dark and tinted themes. Beta testing for the AI features is set to begin next month.
