In India’s fiercely competitive telecom market, all three major private telecom players, namely Airtel, Jio, and Vi, have rolled out year-long validity recharge plans.
These offerings cater not only to individuals looking for a one-time recharge but also to savvy users aiming to save money in the process.
Airtel’s Rs 1,799 Annual Plan
With a generous validity of 365 days, this prepaid plan offers unlimited calling to any network, a substantial 3600 SMS allowance, and a total data quota of 24 GB for the entire year.
It’s important to note that the 24 GB data allocation spans the entire year. While there is a cap of 100 SMS per day, there’s no data cap.
Additionally, subscribers enjoy free hello tunes and complimentary Wynk music subscriptions for a year.
For users seeking more data with their annual plan, Airtel offers the Rs 2,999 plan with a daily 2 GB 4G data limit.
This plan includes all the other benefits of the more affordable annual plan from Airtel.
Jio’s Rs 2,879 Annual Plan
Jio’s most budget-friendly annual plan with 365 days of validity is priced at Rs 2,879. It provides a daily 2 GB 4G data limit, along with unlimited calling.
Subscribers also gain access to services such as JioCinema and JioTV.
Moreover, 5G smartphone users can experience unlimited 5G data with this plan. Those willing to invest a bit more can opt for Jio’s Rs 2,999 annual plan, which offers a daily 4G data limit of 2.5 GB.
Another appealing option from Jio is available at Rs 2,545.
Although it falls under the annual plans category, it offers a validity of 336 days and a daily 1.5 GB 4G data cap. Logically, this is Jio’s most economical annual plan.
Vi’s Rs 1,799 Annual Plan
Vi (Vodafone Idea) also presents an affordable annual plan that mirrors Airtel’s offering. For Rs 1,799, subscribers receive 24 GB of 4G data and unlimited calling.
Similarly, Vi’s next best annual plan is priced at Rs 2,899 and offers 1.5 GB 4G data per day, 100 SMS per day, unlimited calling, and access to the Vi movies and TV app.
Notably, Vi’s plan includes unlimited data access between midnight and 6 am for both downloading and streaming.
Currently, Vi is sweetening the deal by offering an additional 50 GB of 4G data and supporting weekend data rollover,
ensuring that any unused data from Monday to Friday carries forward to Saturday and Sunday.
