Airtel has quietly made its prepaid plans more attractive by adding a popular streaming perk.
Selected recharge packs now come with six months of Apple Music for free, giving users ad-free access to millions of songs at no extra cost.
If you recharge with eligible plans priced between Rs. 319 and Rs. 449, you can unlock this benefit through the Airtel Thanks app.
Here’s everything you need to know, explained simply.
Free Apple Music with Airtel Prepaid Plans
The Apple Music subscription is bundled with Airtel’s existing prepaid benefits like data, calling, and app access.
This is not an automatic offer, though.
Users must manually activate Apple Music after recharging.
Also, the offer is available only through the Airtel Thanks app.
If you recharge using third-party apps, the Apple Music option won’t appear there.
How to Activate Apple Music on Airtel
Activating the subscription takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps after recharging with an eligible plan:
Install or update the Airtel Thanks app
Log in using your Airtel prepaid number
Go to the Rewards or OTT section
Find the Apple Music offer
Tap “Claim Now” and sign in with your Apple ID
Once your Apple ID is linked, Apple Music will be active for six months.
Airtel Prepaid Plans That Include Apple Music
Airtel currently offers this benefit with four prepaid packs. Here’s a quick look at the main ones.
Rs. 319 Plan
This plan comes with unlimited calls, 1.5GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, and one-month validity.
Along with Apple Music for six months, users also get Google One 30GB storage, Adobe Express access for 12 months, Airtel HelloTunes, and Airtel Xstream Play.
Rs. 349 Plan
The Rs. 349 pack offers unlimited calls, 2GB daily data, 100 SMS per day, and 28-day validity.
Extra benefits include six months of Apple Music, SonyLIV and other apps via Airtel Xstream Play, unlimited 5G data, Adobe Express access, LIVE Alerts, and HelloTunes.
Rs. 449 Plan
This plan includes unlimited calls, unlimited data, 100 SMS per day, and 28-day validity.
In addition to Apple Music, users get Google One storage, SonyLIV and other apps through Airtel Xstream Play, JioHotstar Mobile, Adobe Express access, LIVE Alerts, and HelloTunes.
Important Things to Keep in Mind
The Apple Music offer can be claimed only once per prepaid number.
After the six-month free period ends, the subscription renews at Rs. 119 per month.
If you don’t want to continue, make sure to cancel the subscription before the free period ends to avoid automatic charges.
For music lovers, this limited-time perk adds solid value to Airtel’s prepaid plans—especially if you already use Apple Music or plan to try it out.
