Airtel has rolled out two new prepaid recharge plans as competition in the telecom market continues to heat up.
These plans are aimed at users who rely heavily on mobile data and don’t want to constantly track their daily usage.
The biggest attraction is unlimited 4G and 5G data, making these plans ideal for streaming, gaming, and nonstop social media use.
Airtel Launches New Unlimited Data Plans
Airtel’s new prepaid plans are priced at Rs. 399 and Rs. 449, both with a 28-day validity.
Along with high-speed data, users also get unlimited calling and entertainment benefits.
These plans are clearly targeted at people who spend most of their time online, whether it’s watching videos, playing games, or browsing social media.
Airtel Rs. 399 Plan: Budget-Friendly with OTT Access
The Rs. 399 plan offers 2.5GB of high-speed data per day along with unlimited 5G data.
Users also get unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls, plus 100 SMS per day.
For entertainment lovers, the plan includes a 28-day JioHotstar Mobile subscription, giving access to movies, web series, and live sports.
The unlimited 5G benefit works only in areas where Airtel’s 5G network is available.
Airtel Rs. 449 Plan: More Data and Extra Storage
The Rs. 449 plan is designed for heavy data users. It comes with 4GB of high-speed data per day, unlimited 5G data, and a 28-day validity.
Calling and SMS benefits remain the same as the Rs. 399 plan.
In addition, users get JioHotstar Mobile access for 28 days and 30GB of Google One cloud storage, which can be useful for storing photos, videos, and important files.
Which Airtel Plan Should You Choose?
If your main goal is enjoying fast 5G speeds and OTT content at a lower price, the Rs. 399 plan is a solid choice.
However, if you need more daily data and extra cloud storage, the Rs. 449 plan offers better overall value.
How Airtel Plans Compare with Jio Annual Packs
Jio also offers long-term plans for heavy data users.
Its ₹3,999 annual plan provides unlimited 5G, 2.5GB daily data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and 365-day validity.
benefits include FanCode access, a three-month JioHotstar subscription, and an 18-month Google Gemini Pro subscription.
Jio’s ₹3,599 plan offers similar benefits but does not include FanCode.
With these new launches, Airtel is clearly stepping up its game to compete with Jio and attract users who want unlimited data and entertainment without spending too much.
