Bharti Airtel recently raised the prices of its prepaid and postpaid plans following the 2024 spectrum auction.
Initially, the prices of three prepaid data packs (Rs 19, Rs 29, and Rs 65) were increased. Now, Airtel has also hiked the prices of three additional data packs (Rs 99, Rs 181, and Rs 301).
This latest increase has made these plans up to Rs 60 more expensive, meaning customers will now have to pay more for their data needs.
According to a TelecomTalk report, Airtel has raised the prices of three popular data packs. After the price hike, the Rs 181 data pack now costs Rs 211, the Rs 301 data pack is now Rs 361, and the Rs 79 pack has increased to Rs 99.
This means the Rs 301 data pack has become Rs 60 more expensive.
Airtel Rs 211 Data Pack
Previously priced at Rs 181, this pack is now Rs 211, marking a Rs 30 increase. The Rs 211 data pack provides 1GB of daily data for 30 days. After using up the daily data limit, additional data usage is charged at 50 paise per MB.
This pack does not include any additional benefits beyond the data allowance.
If you need an extra 1GB of daily data alongside your current base plan benefits, this plan is ideal. It’s worth noting that Airtel currently doesn’t offer any other data pack with a daily data option.
For instance, if your base plan provides 1GB of daily data, using this pack will grant you a total of 2GB of daily data.
Airtel Rs 361 Data Pack
Previously priced at Rs 301, this pack is now Rs 361, marking a Rs 60 increase.
The Rs 361 data pack includes a one-time 50GB data allowance, valid until the end of your current base plan’s validity period.
If your existing plan has approximately 200 days remaining, you can utilize the 50GB data allowance within that period.
Any data usage beyond the allocated quota will incur a charge of 50 paise per MB. Additionally, this pack includes a one-year subscription to Wink Music Premium.
Airtel Rs 99 Data Pack
The Rs 99 data pack, although not new, has been readjusted to its original launch price in response to market changes.
The current Airtel Rs 99 data pack, previously priced at Rs 79, now provides unlimited data with a daily Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit of 20GB and remains valid for 2 days.
In this pack, Airtel users receive 40GB of high-speed data over two days.
Once the high-speed data limit is reached, customers can still access unlimited data at speeds up to 64 Kbps.
