Telecom giant Bharti Airtel has once again started offering unlimited 5G data on several of its prepaid recharge plans.
This move comes as competition in the telecom market heats up, especially after rivals like Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea began offering unlimited 5G on many of their plans.
When Airtel first launched its 5G services in India, it provided unlimited 5G data to users.
However, the company later stopped the offer.
Now, Airtel has brought it back again on selected prepaid plans that include a daily data limit along with unlimited 5G access.
Below is a look at some of the popular Airtel recharge plans that currently offer unlimited 5G benefits.
Airtel Prepaid Plans With Unlimited 5G
Airtel is offering unlimited 5G on multiple prepaid plans with different validity periods and daily data limits.
Rs 349 Plan – 28 days validity, 1.5GB daily data, unlimited 5G, plus access to more than 20 OTT platforms including SonyLIV and Airtel Xstream Play.
Rs 379 Plan – 1 month validity with 2GB daily data, unlimited 5G, and subscription to Apple Music.
Rs 398 Plan – 28 days validity with 2GB daily data, unlimited 5G, and a 28-day subscription to JioHotstar mobile.
Rs 399 Plan – 28 days validity, 2.5GB daily data, unlimited 5G, and a 28-day JioHotstar mobile subscription.
Rs 409 Plan – 28 days validity with 2.5GB daily data, unlimited 5G, and OTT access including SonyLIV and Airtel Xstream Play.
Rs 429 Plan – 1 month validity with 2.5GB daily data, unlimited 5G, and subscription to Adobe Express Premium.
Rs 649 Plan – 56 days validity with 2GB daily data, unlimited 5G, and Adobe Express Premium subscription.
Rs 979 Plan – 84 days validity with 2GB daily data, unlimited 5G, and OTT access including SonyLIV and Airtel Xstream Play.
Rs 1029 Plan – 84 days validity with 2GB daily data, unlimited 5G, and a 3-month JioHotstar mobile subscription.
Rs 1798 Plan – 84 days validity with 3GB daily data, unlimited 5G, and a subscription to Netflix Basic.
Rs 3999 Plan – 365 days validity with 2.5GB daily data, unlimited 5G, and a full-year JioHotstar mobile subscription.
Who Can Use Airtel Unlimited 5G?
Customers who recharge with any of the plans listed above can enjoy unlimited 5G data.
However, there is one important condition.
Unlimited 5G will only work if 5G network coverage is available in your area. If your location does not have Airtel 5G connectivity yet, the unlimited 5G benefit will not be available.
Does Unlimited 5G Actually Work?
In real use, the unlimited 5G feature works quite well.
For example, after recharging with the Rs 649 plan, unlimited 5G was available throughout the 56-day validity period.
Interestingly, even while traveling to another state for two days, the unlimited 5G continued to work during roaming, as long as Airtel’s 5G network was available in that location.
