Air India Introduces 3-Class Cabin on Domestic Routes with Premium Economy

Air India has announced a significant upgrade to its domestic and short-haul international routes by introducing a new three-class cabin configuration on its A320neo aircraft, effective from July 1.

Air India’s A320neo fleet will now feature:

Business Class: 8 luxurious seats offering premium comfort.

Economy Class: 132 comfortable seats ensuring a pleasant journey for all passengers.

Campbell Wilson, CEO and Managing Director of Air India, emphasized the importance of this upgrade in enhancing the overall flying experience.

He highlighted that this initiative aligns with Air India’s strategy to become a world-class airline by upgrading both narrowbody and widebody fleets.

Flight Schedule Highlights

Air India will operate flights with the new three-class configuration on several key routes:

Delhi – Bengaluru: Flights AI 0803, AI 0505, AI 0502, AI 0503, AI 0813, AI 0507, AI 0815, AI 0509.

Delhi – Chandigarh: Flights AI 0463 and AI 0464.

These flights will offer passengers a choice between Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes, providing flexibility and comfort tailored to their travel needs.
