Air India Express has stopped its direct flight service between Indore and Goa.

This was a popular and convenient option for many travellers heading to Goa.

With this decision, passengers now have very limited choices.

Only one regular IndiGo flight and one Sunday flight are available on this route, which may cause inconvenience for travellers.

Flight Details and New Bengaluru Route

According to Amol Kataria, the earlier flight used to depart from Indore at 10:55 am and reach Goa by 12:30 pm.

On the return journey, the flight would leave Goa at 1:05 pm and land back in Indore at 2:30 pm.

This timing made it very convenient for passengers.

At the same time, Air India Express has introduced a new flight on the Indore–Bengaluru route.

This flight will arrive in Indore at 4:25 pm and depart for Bengaluru at 5 pm.

Fewer Flights to Goa, More to Bengaluru

Travel experts say that there are already many flights available to Bengaluru, so adding another one may not benefit travellers much.

On the other hand, Goa has very limited direct flight options from Indore.

Because of this, the cancellation is expected to create problems for tourists planning trips.

Seasonal Demand Behind the Decision

Experts believe that this move is linked to seasonal travel trends.

Tourist numbers in Goa usually drop during the summer and monsoon seasons.

It is likely that Air India Express made this change as part of its summer schedule due to lower demand on the Goa route.
