Now, passengers can upgrade to Premium Economy by paying just ₹599 more than the standard economy fare. However, prices may vary based on routes and demand.

More Upgraded Aircraft for Premium Economy
To expand Premium Economy, Air India has upgraded 27 older A320 aircraft to a three-class configuration, increasing premium economy seating by 30% to 65,000 seats weekly.
These aircraft feature new seats in all cabins, and the airline plans to extend this service across India and select short international routes soon.
