Air India has announced special relief for passengers due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, which has affected several international flight operations.
The airline said passengers with confirmed bookings made on or before February 28 can take advantage of special options.
These include free rescheduling of flights or a full refund if they cancel their ticket.
This benefit applies to passengers travelling to or from the Middle East, the UK, and Europe for journeys scheduled up to March 10.
The airline also said it is closely monitoring the situation and has advised passengers to regularly check their flight status before travelling.
Extra Flights Announced Due to High Demand
Due to rising demand and travel disruptions in West Asia, Air India has also decided to operate additional international flights.
The airline will add extra flights on popular routes connecting Delhi with Toronto, Frankfurt, and Paris.
These additional services are expected to help passengers who are facing delays or changes in travel plans.
According to the airline, three extra flights will operate between Delhi and Toronto from March 5 to March 11.
Apart from this, three additional flights will run between Delhi and Frankfurt, while one extra flight will be added between Delhi and Paris (Charles de Gaulle) from March 7 to March 10.
Air India Express Flights to Muscat Continue
Air India Express, the low-cost airline owned by Air India, has also shared an update about its operations.
The airline confirmed that flights to Muscat will continue to operate normally.
In fact, the airline will add more flights between Muscat and the Indian cities of Delhi and Mumbai to handle the increased demand.
These steps are part of the airline’s efforts to ensure passengers can still travel smoothly despite the ongoing disruptions in the region.
