Air India has announced a major expansion of its network with 174 additional weekly flights across domestic and short-haul international routes starting October 26, 2025.

More Flights to Southeast Asia and Popular Indian Destinations

The Delhi–Kuala Lumpur service will go up from seven to ten flights per week beginning November 15, while the Delhi–Denpasar (Bali) route will also increase from seven to ten weekly flights starting December 1.

From Mumbai, there will be more flights to Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur, improving access to one of India’s most visited states.

Expansion in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat

Air India is also increasing flight frequencies in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

Starting October 26, the Delhi–Indore route will have four daily flights instead of three.

The Delhi–Bhopal and Mumbai–Indore routes will each get one additional flight.

In Gujarat, daily flights between Mumbai and Bhuj and Delhi and Rajkot will double, offering more convenience to passengers.

Other cities that will benefit include Varanasi, Raipur, Port Blair, Aurangabad, Guwahati, Nagpur, Dehradun, Patna, and Amritsar, reflecting Air India’s plan to cater to the growing winter travel demand.

Refurbished Fleet Promises Better Passenger Experience

The airline’s A320neo retrofit programme, launched in September 2024, is almost complete.

Of the 27 older A320neo aircraft, 26 have been upgraded with new cabin interiors featuring Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.

With over 100 A320 Family aircraft now equipped with modern interiors, Air India aims to offer a superior travel experience on more than 80 domestic and short-haul international routes.

This expansion marks another big step in Air India’s transformation, combining better connectivity and upgraded aircraft to make flying smoother and more comfortable for passengers.
