The dream of owning an affordable house in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, is becoming a reality. The Varanasi Development Authority has given the green light to a 6-storey group housing society in Dandupur, Varanasi, under the Affordable Group Housing Scheme.
This initiative, spearheaded by Vice President Pulkit Garg, marks a milestone as the map was approved in a record time of just 86 hours.

Key Features of the Housing Scheme
This affordable group housing project will cover an area of 2817 square meters and accommodate a total of 65 flats.
The scheme aims to contribute to the development of a new city along the ring road, fulfilling the vision of establishing a new Kashi.
Facilities Offered
The ground and first floors of the housing scheme will feature space for offices and shops, including showrooms for branded companies.
Additionally, amenities such as car parking, sewage treatment plant (STP), and lifts will be provided. However, the pricing of these flats is yet to be determined.
Rapid Progress Expected
With the map approval achieved in a remarkable 86 hours, the construction of the housing scheme is expected to proceed swiftly. Each floor, except the ground and first floors, will house 13 flats, all equipped with essential facilities.

Pulkit Garg emphasized that the approval of the housing scheme along the ring road aims to provide affordable housing and business opportunities to city residents. This initiative is a step towards realizing the vision of establishing a vibrant New Kashi.
