Adani App Users Can Now Access Airport Lounges Directly (8 Airports Covered)

In a major step toward digital transformation, Adani Airports Holding Ltd. has announced that passengers can now directly book airport lounge access through its official website and app, removing the need for any third-party platforms.

“Passengers across India can now use our platform to access lounges, in direct partnership with lounge operators. No intermediaries—just a seamless, world-class experience,” the company said.

  • Navi Mumbai (upcoming)

The new lounge booking system is being led by Adani Airports Digital Lab, the company’s tech and innovation team.

The aim is to enhance the customer experience by offering easy, direct access to lounges and other airport services, making travel smoother for passengers.

A Response to Market Changes and Aggregator Exits

The announcement follows closely after airport service aggregator Dreamfolks informed the stock market that Axis Bank and ICICI Bank had ended partnerships, reportedly under pressure from two airport operators.

Dreamfolks noted this development could significantly affect its business, as lounge access services linked to credit cards had made up a large share of its income.

What It Means for Travelers

This move reflects a growing trend of airport operators cutting out middlemen and directly offering services to travelers.

This gives operators more control over customer experience and reduces reliance on external platforms.

As credit card-based lounge access becomes uncertain, travelers may now prefer booking directly through airport websites or mobile apps for a smoother and more reliable experience.

This also marks a shift in how airport services are delivered, with airport operators stepping up to offer in-house digital solutions instead of depending on service aggregators.
