The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced a revision in the charges for Aadhaar PVC Cards.
Starting 1st January 2026, the cost of ordering an Aadhaar PVC Card will increase from Rs 50 to Rs 75, inclusive of taxes.
This rate will apply to all orders placed through the myAadhaar portal or the mAadhaar mobile app.
Why the Price is Increasing
UIDAI introduced the Aadhaar PVC Card service in 2020 at a nominal charge of Rs 50 per card, covering taxes and delivery.
Over the years, the cost of materials, printing, secure delivery, and logistics has gone up.
To continue offering high-quality service and ensure timely delivery, UIDAI reviewed the fee structure and decided to increase the charges.
