Aastha Spintex Bonus Shares are set to be allotted under a 1:1 bonus issue, with the textile company fixing September 28, 2026 as the record date.

Eligible shareholders will receive one bonus equity share for every existing share held on the record date.

The company plans to issue 4,41,42,190 bonus equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The bonus shares are proposed to rank equally with the existing equity shares.

Aastha Spintex Bonus Shares Record Date

The record date for determining eligible shareholders is September 28, 2026.

Investors who qualify under the company’s announced terms will receive one additional share for every one existing share held.

The bonus shares are expected to be available for trading from September 30, subject to applicable requirements.

The company has also planned the allotment of the bonus shares on September 29.

For example, an investor holding 100 eligible Aastha Spintex shares would receive 100 additional bonus shares, taking the holding to 200 shares.

A bonus issue increases the number of shares held, while the market price generally adjusts to reflect the increased share count.

Company Plans Capital Increase

Alongside the bonus issue, Aastha Spintex’s board has approved increasing the company’s authorised share capital from ₹45 crore to ₹100 crore.

The move is intended to facilitate the corporate action and provide additional authorised capital.

The company has approved capitalisation of up to ₹44.14 crore from eligible free reserves, securities premium and capital redemption reserve as of March 31, 2026 for the bonus issue.

Aastha Spintex Expands Into Fabric Products

Aastha Spintex is also planning to expand beyond cotton yarn manufacturing into grey fabric and other value-added fabric products.

The move would take the company further into the textile value chain.

The expansion follows the company’s acquisition of Falcon Yarns Private Limited.

According to the reported company plans, the acquisition is expected to increase spinning capacity from 7,700 metric tonnes to 17,457 metric tonnes and spindle capacity from 25,920 to 61,824.

The company had revenue of ₹352 crore in FY25, compared with ₹240 crore in FY23, while net profit increased from ₹1.1 crore to ₹23 crore over the same period, according to the company’s reported figures.

 What Investors Should Know

A bonus issue gives additional shares to eligible existing shareholders without requiring them to make an additional payment for those bonus shares.

However, receiving more shares does not by itself mean that the total value of an investor’s holding increases by the same proportion, because the market price generally adjusts after the bonus issue.

Investors should also distinguish the bonus issue from the company’s separate expansion plans.

The bonus shares relate to the corporate action, while the proposed move into grey and value-added fabrics concerns the company’s business operations.
