BHIM MyUPI makes UPI support easier by bringing transaction help, complaint tracking, AutoPay management and payment safety features into one AI-powered assistant.

The service was launched by NPCI BHIM Services Limited at Global Fintech Fest 2026.

The assistant is available 24/7 through the BHIM Payments App and currently supports English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Bengali.

Users can interact with it in everyday language instead of navigating multiple support channels.

BHIM MyUPI Brings UPI Help in One Place

MyUPI allows users to view UPI transactions across linked bank accounts and UPI apps.

Users can select a particular transaction and seek assistance through the BHIM app.

The service also allows eligible users to raise payment-related complaints, receive a complaint reference number and track the progress of their complaints from within the app.

Another feature called Pay Safe allows users to enter a UPI ID or scan a QR code to check the payee name before making a payment.

This gives users an additional verification step before authorising a transaction.

AutoPay Mandates Can Be Managed Through MyUPI

BHIM MyUPI provides a consolidated view of recurring UPI payments and related mandates across linked accounts and applications.

Depending on the mandate, users can pause, resume or cancel eligible AutoPay mandates.

The assistant can also help users identify the mandate associated with a debit when a payment is made without a UPI PIN prompt.

This can help users understand why a recurring debit has appeared in their account.

MyUPI also includes Transaction Replay, allowing users to re-initiate eligible previous person-to-person and person-to-merchant payments.

Any new payment still requires fresh authorisation through the user’s UPI PIN.

New Safety Features for UPI Users

The Safety Switch is designed for situations such as a suspected account compromise, lost phone, unexpected debit or suspicious message.

Users can use it to block a linked bank account to prevent further transactions on that account.

MyUPI also provides fraud-awareness assistance covering commonly reported UPI fraud methods and suspected scam messages.

The service is designed to help users understand potential risks before taking action.

Users can also de-link their UPI Number if they do not want payments to be received through their mobile number. They can continue receiving payments through their UPI ID, where applicable.

What BHIM MyUPI Means for Users

BHIM MyUPI brings several commonly needed UPI services into a single interface rather than requiring users to search through different payment apps or support channels.

The conversational format is intended to make UPI assistance easier to access.

However, the AI assistant does not remove the need for payment authentication.

Payment-related actions continue to require authentication through the user’s UPI PIN, according to the service details.

The feature is currently available through the Quick Actions section of the BHIM Payments App. More regional languages are planned to be added over time.
