The company describes CREST AI as a voice-first AI companion. It is designed to let users ask questions, have conversations and perform everyday tasks without repeatedly taking out their smartphone.
boAt CREST AI Brings AI to Earbuds
The new platform is currently available for Android devices. Users can communicate with the AI using their voice through compatible earbuds, reducing the need to open an app or type questions on the phone for supported tasks.
The experience is built around three main capabilities called Crest Ask, G-Assist and Crest Translate. Crest Ask allows users to ask questions, find information, discuss ideas and have voice conversations with the AI.
G-Assist connects with Google services. According to boAt, integration with Gmail, Tasks and Calendar allows users to manage emails, schedules and daily tasks through voice commands.
boAt CREST AI Supports Voice Translation
Crest Translate is designed to help users communicate across languages. According to boAt, the feature supports voice translation across up to 25 languages and can be used during conversations between people speaking different languages.
The platform also includes Vibe Play, which helps users discover and play music through voice commands. Crest Concierge is designed to provide a voice interface for supported tasks such as ordering, shopping and making reservations.
More AI Features Are Available
CREST AI also includes Brainstorm, which allows users to discuss ideas and problems with the AI. Crest Support can help users with device-related questions, including pairing, battery and reset-related assistance.
The platform is not limited to a single earbud model. boAt has also made CREST AI available on the Airdopes Prime 701 ANC and boAt Nirvana Ion ANC, alongside the Airdopes Prime 800D.
Airdopes Prime 800D Gets AI Features
The boAt Airdopes Prime 800D is one of the main devices featuring the new AI experience. It comes with Dolby Audio, 11mm drivers, 24-bit Spatial Audio, Adaptive EQ and boAt Signature Sound.
The earbuds feature four AI-ENx microphones. According to the company, these microphones work with AI-based noise reduction to help improve call quality.
Other features include up to 45 hours of total playback, Bluetooth 6.1, multipoint connectivity and a 45ms low-latency BEAST Mode. boAt also claims that a 10-minute charge can provide up to four hours of playback.

The Airdopes Prime 800D CREST AI variant starts at ₹1,999. The Airdopes Prime 701 ANC CREST AI variant is priced at ₹2,599.
