Maruti e-Vitara Price Increased by Up to ₹30,000

Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of its electric SUV, the e-Vitara, for the first time since launch. Buyers will now have to pay up to ₹30,000 more, depending on the variant they choose.

According to reports, the price of the entry-level Delta variant remains unchanged at ₹16 lakh (ex-showroom).

However, the Zeta variant is now costlier by ₹30,000, while the Alpha and Alpha Dual-Tone variants have received a price hike of up to ₹20,000.

The Maruti e-Vitara competes with popular electric SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Harrier EV, Tata Curvv EV, MG Windsor EV, Mahindra BE 6, VinFast VF 6, and MG ZS EV.

Battery Options and Driving Range

The e-Vitara is available with two battery pack options.

The Delta variant comes with a 49kWh battery pack paired with a front-wheel-drive electric motor that produces 144hp and 193Nm of torque. This version offers a claimed driving range of up to 440km on a full charge.

The Zeta and Alpha variants get a larger 61kWh battery pack. It is paired with a more powerful electric motor producing 174hp and 193Nm of torque. With this battery, the SUV delivers a claimed range of up to 543km.

Color Choices Available

Customers can choose from 10 exterior color options, including 6 monotone and 4 dual-tone shades.

Monotone colors include Arctic White, Bluish Black, Grandeur Grey, Land Breeze, Opulent Red, and Splendid Silver.

Most colors are also available with a contrasting black roof, giving buyers the option of a dual-tone finish.

Delta Variant Features (49kWh Battery)

The entry-level Delta variant comes with a long list of features.

Key highlights include a 10.25-inch digital driver display, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto

and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, PM2.5 air filter, and multiple drive modes including Eco, Normal, Sport, and Snow.

Safety features include 7 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, TPMS, electronic parking brake with auto hold, hill hold control, ABS with EBD, brake assist, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

Other features include keyless entry, push-button start, powered ORVMs with auto-fold function, LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, shark-fin antenna,

and automatic wipers.

Zeta Variant Features (61kWh Battery)

In addition to all Delta variant features, the Zeta trim gets a few extra convenience features.

These include a wireless phone charger, rear parking camera, and parcel tray.

Alpha Variant Features (61kWh Battery)

The top-spec Alpha variant offers all features available in the Zeta trim along with several premium upgrades.

It comes with Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, a 10-way powered driver seat, a fixed glass roof panel, and an 8-speaker Infinity sound system with a subwoofer.

The Alpha variant also gets premium semi-leatherette seat upholstery, making the cabin feel more luxurious.

Should You Consider the e-Vitara?

Even after the latest price increase, the Maruti e-Vitara remains one of the most feature-loaded electric SUVs in its segment. With a claimed range of up to 543km, advanced safety technology,

and multiple battery options, it continues to be a strong choice for buyers looking for a practical electric SUV.
