If you make UPI payments through multiple apps such as Paytm, PhonePe, and Google Pay, keeping track of your transactions can sometimes be difficult.
You may have to open each app separately to check your payment history.
But did you know that you can view the transaction history of all your UPI apps in one place?
The process is simple, takes only a few minutes, and can help users who frequently switch between different UPI apps for online payments.
How to Check UPI Payment History Across All Apps
You can access your complete UPI transaction history through the NPCI platform.
Follow these steps:
Step 1
Open any UPI app on your smartphone, such as Paytm.
Step 2
Tap on your profile picture.
Step 3
Scroll down and select UPI & Payment Settings.
Step 4
Scroll further and tap on UPI Help.
Step 5
Choose a browser when prompted.
Step 6
You will be redirected to the NPCI website.
Step 7
Enter your UPI-linked mobile number and complete the captcha verification.
Step 8
Enter the OTP received on your mobile number.
Step 9
Select Transaction History and enter the last four digits of your linked bank account.
Step 10
Tap Verify and Continue. You will then be able to see your UPI transaction history across different payment apps.
Who Should Use This Feature?
This feature is especially useful for people who use more than one UPI app for payments.
For example, if you make some payments through PhonePe, others through Google Pay, and a few through Paytm, you can view all those transactions in one place instead of checking each app separately.
However, if you use only one UPI app, you may not find this feature very useful because your transaction history is already available within that app.
The entire process usually takes less than five minutes to complete.
India’s Most Popular UPI Apps
UPI has become the preferred payment method for millions of Indians, and a few apps dominate the market.
According to recent industry data:
PhonePe handles nearly 48% of total UPI transactions.
Google Pay holds around 33% to 35% market share.
Paytm accounts for roughly 6% to 8% of UPI transactions.
This makes PhonePe the largest UPI payment app in India, followed by Google Pay and Paytm.
For users who regularly switch between these apps, the NPCI transaction history feature can be a convenient way to keep all payment records in one place.
