Maharashtra Govt requires e-KYC for Ladki Bahin Yojana

The Maharashtra government has taken a key step to make the Chief Minister’s Ladki Bahin Yojana more transparent.

Now, every woman receiving benefits under this scheme must complete the e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) process.

This online verification of identity and documents is necessary to continue receiving the monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500.

The deadline to complete e-KYC is November 18, 2025. After this date, renewals will be required every June.

Failing to complete the e-KYC on time will result in suspension of the monthly installments.
