Royal Enfield has once again shown its strength in the adventure bike segment.
At the EICMA 2025 event, the company launched a new special edition — the Royal Enfield Himalayan Mana Black Edition.
This bike is inspired by India’s highest road, the Mana Pass, located at 5,632 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
Design and Appearance
The Himalayan Mana Black Edition stands out with its deep matte black finish, giving it a bold and premium look.
It comes with black rally handguards, a dual seat, and rally mudguards, all designed for better off-road performance. The wire-spoke tubeless wheels ensure stability across all types of terrain.
Royal Enfield has not just changed the look — the bike also includes factory-fitted adventure accessories, making it ready for long rides right out of the showroom.
Engine and Performance
Built on the company’s Sherpa 450 platform, the Mana Black Edition shares the same strong foundation as the Himalayan 450.
It is powered by a 451.65cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine that produces 39.5 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother gear shifts.
Royal Enfield says this engine is specially tuned for high-altitude and off-road conditions, offering improved throttle response and heat management for long-distance adventures.
Suspension, Control, and Comfort
The Mana Black Edition is built to handle challenging terrains with confidence.
It has a ground clearance of 230 mm and a curb weight of 195 kg.
The bike features 43 mm upside-down front forks and a linkage-type monoshock rear suspension, both offering 200 mm of travel.
This setup ensures a stable and comfortable ride, even on rough roads.
Braking and Technology
For safety, the bike includes 320 mm front and 270 mm rear disc brakes with a dual-channel switchable ABS system.
On the tech side, it offers modern features such as a 4-inch TFT display, Google Maps-powered navigation, ride modes (Eco and Performance), media controls, and a USB Type-C charging port — all aimed at enhancing the rider’s convenience.
Price and Availability
Bookings for the Royal Enfield Himalayan Mana Black Edition have already started in Europe.
In India, its estimated ex-showroom price is expected to be between ₹7.4 lakh and ₹7.6 lakh.
Once launched, this new edition will compete with other adventure bikes like the KTM 390 Adventure and the BMW G 310 GS.
