India Post launches Dak Sewa 2.0 App

The Indian Postal Department has launched a new mobile application called Dak Sewa 2.0 to modernize and speed up postal services across the country.

Developed by the Indian Postal Department, this app is available for Android users on the Google Play Store and for iPhone users on the Apple App Store.

Through this app, citizens can easily access postal services from their homes. It allows users to track parcels

and money orders, calculate postage, book mail, generate e-receipts, and even file complaints.

Dak Sewa 2.0 is part of the department’s IT 2.0 upgrade, which aims to make post offices completely digital.

Key Features of Dak Sewa 2.0

The app has a 4.1-star rating on the Google Play Store with over 100,000 downloads.

It supports UPI and dynamic QR code payments at all post office counters, allowing users to pay for services like parcel booking, savings account deposits, and more directly through the app.

Track parcels, registered letters, and speed post

Find nearby post offices

Calculate parcel charges by entering details

Generate e-receipts for your transactions

Easy Complaint and Support Options

If you face any issues, you can register complaints related to post office services, parcels, or transactions directly through the app.

Users can also track the status of their complaints.

Multi-Language and Dark Mode Support

Dak Sewa 2.0 supports 23 languages, including Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Urdu, Dogri, Konkani, Maithili, and Bengali.

To change the language, simply tap the language icon on the right side of the app and select your preferred option.

The app also offers a dark mode feature. To enable it, click the first icon at the top right corner.

You can search for any service directly using the search bar within the app.
