No More EMIs? BytePe Offers New iPhones on Affordable Subscriptions

India’s first tech subscription platform, BytePe, has officially launched. Founded by Jayant Jha, former Flipkart leader and co-founder of Yaantra (acquired by Flipkart), BytePe aims to change how Indians buy smartphones.

Instead of paying heavy down payments or long EMIs, users can now subscribe to premium smartphones through flexible, affordable monthly plans.

Smart Subscription Model

BytePe’s new model lets users use smartphones at a lower monthly cost and upgrade to a new device every year. There are no hidden charges or lock-in periods.

Most notably, users can now access the latest iPhone 17 series — including iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max — on BytePe’s subscription plans, making Apple’s new lineup easier to own.

How BytePe Works

The process is simple: users choose a smartphone, such as the iPhone 17 (256GB) priced at ₹82,900, and get it on a monthly subscription.

The plan offers better EMI rates than traditional financing options.

  • For credit card users, it works like regular EMIs.

  • For users without credit cards, BytePe provides its own BytePe EMI facility.

Every 12 months, users can choose one of three options:

  1. Upgrade to a new phone

  2. Return the existing device

  3. Continue for another year to fully own it

Each subscription also includes 100% damage protection, covering accidental damage throughout the plan period.

Buyback and Direct Purchase Options

For those who prefer outright purchases, BytePe also offers an upfront purchase plan.

Buyers get one-year insurance and up to 50% assured buyback value after 12 or 24 months. This gives users a choice between subscriptions and full ownership.

Vision for Affordable Tech

BytePe’s goal is to make premium technology accessible and stress-free.

The company says users can enjoy zero upfront costs, up to 50% savings on EMIs, and the freedom to upgrade every year — all while making smartphones like the iPhone 17 series more affordable for everyone.
