Travel and foreign exchange services provider Thomas Cook India has teamed up with quick commerce platform Blinkit to launch borderless multicurrency cards for travelers and students.
These cards will be delivered to customers’ doorsteps within minutes.
“This move will make buying forex easy, digital, and customer-centric, especially for those who don’t typically use forex services,” said Deepesh Verma, Executive Vice President (Foreign Exchange) at Thomas Cook.
Types of Cards and Their Uses
The cards come in two types:
Borderless Travel Card – designed for travelers.
Study Buddy Card – aimed at students studying abroad.
Both cards allow customers to transact in foreign currency easily and securely. These forex cards are currently available in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.
How to Get a Forex Card
The card collection process involves three steps:
Order the card via Blinkit.
Submit KYC documents and make payment through Thomas Cook’s secure link.
Complete video KYC and activate the card.
Customers can also complete the process through a call center or by visiting a Thomas Cook branch.
