New HDFC FD Rates Effective June 25

HDFC Bank, the largest private bank in India, has once again reduced the interest rates on fixed deposits (FDs) and savings accounts.

This time, the rates have been cut by 25 basis points (0.25%), and the new rates have come into effect from June 25, 2025.

This is the second interest rate cut by HDFC Bank in June. Earlier, on June 10, the bank had already reduced the FD interest rates on certain tenures.

The revised rates apply to deposits of less than Rs 3 crore. Along with this, the interest rate on savings accounts has also been reduced by 25 basis points, effective from June 24, 2025.

Revised Interest Rates on These FDs

For fixed deposits with a tenure of less than 15 months and more than 18 months, regular customers will now get 6.35% interest instead of the earlier 6.60%. Senior citizens will receive 6.85%, down from 7.10%.

Currently, HDFC Bank offers interest rates ranging from 2.75% to 6.60% for regular customers and 3.25% to 7.10% for senior citizens, depending on the FD tenure.

7 to 14 days: Regular – 2.75%; Senior Citizens – 3.25%

15 to 29 days: Regular – 2.75%; Senior Citizens – 3.25%

30 to 45 days: Regular – 3.25%; Senior Citizens – 3.75%

46 to 60 days: Regular – 4.25%; Senior Citizens – 4.75%

61 to 89 days: Regular – 4.25%; Senior Citizens – 4.75%

90 days to 6 months: Regular – 4.25%; Senior Citizens – 4.75%

6 months 1 day to less than 9 months: Regular – 5.50%; Senior Citizens – 6.00%

9 months 1 day to less than 1 year: Regular – 5.75%; Senior Citizens – 6.25%

Less than 1 year to 15 months: Regular – 6.25%; Senior Citizens – 6.75%

15 months to less than 18 months: Regular – 6.35%; Senior Citizens – 6.85%

18 months 1 day to less than 21 months: Regular – 6.60%; Senior Citizens – 6.95%

21 months to 2 years: Regular – 6.45%; Senior Citizens – 7.20%

2 years 1 day to less than 2 years 11 months: Regular – 6.45%; Senior Citizens – 6.95%

2 years 11 months 1 day to 35 months: Regular – 6.45%; Senior Citizens – 6.95%

2 years 11 months 1 day to 3 years: Regular – 6.45%; Senior Citizens – 6.95%

3 years 1 day to 4 years 7 months: Regular – 6.40%; Senior Citizens – 6.90%

4 years 7 months to 55 months: Regular – 6.40%; Senior Citizens – 7.90%
