Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card Lounge Access: If you use a Flipkart Axis Bank credit card, there’s an important update for you.
Axis Bank has stopped the free airport lounge access that was earlier available four times a year with this card.
This change will take effect from June 6, 2025. However, all other card benefits will remain unchanged.
In a positive update, cashback on Myntra has now increased from 1% to 7.5%, with a maximum limit of ₹4,000 per statement quarter.
Benefits You Will Continue to Get
5% cashback on Flipkart and Cleartrip purchases (unchanged).
4% unlimited cashback on PVR, Swiggy, Cult.fit, and Uber (unchanged).
1% unlimited cashback on all other eligible spending.
15% discount (up to ₹500) on food bills when ordering through the EasyDiner app or paying at restaurants partnered with it.
1% fuel surcharge waiver on fuel purchases between ₹400 and ₹4,000.
How to Avoid the Joining Fee
The joining fee is ₹500.
The annual fee of ₹500 is waived if your total spending in a year is ₹3.5 lakh or more.
New Charges Effective December 20, 2024
Axis Bank will introduce new charges from December 20, 2024:
An extra 1% fee will apply if you exceed a limit while spending on:
Rent payments
Education fees
Utility bills
Wallet loading
Fuel expenses
Online gaming
A 1.5% dynamic currency conversion fee will be charged for international transactions made in Indian Rupees.
Despite the removal of the free lounge access, the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card still offers solid value for those who frequently shop on platforms like Flipkart, Myntra, and Swiggy.
The increased cashback on Myntra makes it especially useful for online shoppers.
