So far, the central government has released 19 installments under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN).
Now, farmers are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment, which is expected to be credited to their accounts in the first week of June.
However, this time, only those farmers who have completed the required documents and steps will receive the payment.
The government has launched a special drive that will run until May 31, 2025, to ensure that all eligible farmers are connected to the scheme and no beneficiary misses the next payment.
What needs to be done to receive the next installment?
If you want the 20th installment amount to reach your account, make sure to complete these three important steps soon:
Complete e-KYC
– Visit the PM Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in
– Go to the “Farmer Corner” and click on “e-KYC”
– Enter your Aadhaar number and the mobile number linked to it
– Enter the OTP sent to your mobile and verify it
– Once verification is successful, your e-KYC will be completed
Link your bank account with Aadhaar and update NPCI
– Your bank account must be linked to NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India)
– Visit your nearest bank branch with your passbook and Aadhaar card
– Fill out the NPCI mapping form and submit it at the bank
– Only after this is done, the money will be transferred via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer)
Complete Land Verification (Land Seeding)
– Visit your district’s Agriculture Department office
– Carry your PM Kisan registration number and land records (Khasra/Khatauni)
– Fill out the application and submit the necessary documents
– After verification, your identity will be linked to your land, which is called land seeding
