Good news for those who make digital payments! NPCI BHIM Services (NBSL) has launched BHIM 3.0, making payments and managing expenses easier and smarter.
This is the third major update of the BHIM app, designed for users, businesses, and banks alike.
New Features in BHIM 3.0
1. Bill Sharing Facility
You can now share expenses with friends and family, whether it’s for house rent, food bills, or group shopping.
The split payment feature will help you calculate and manage your share of the expenses easily.
2. Family Mode
With this new mode, you can add family members and keep track of their expenses. You can also assign important payments, enabling the entire family to plan finances together.
3. Expense Analytics
The Spend Analytics feature gives a detailed breakdown of your monthly expenses. It automatically categorizes them, making it easier for you to budget and save.
4. Reminder Alerts
The app will now send automatic reminders for pending bills, UPI Lite activation, and low balances, ensuring you never miss important payments.
Special Features for Traders
1. BHIM Vega
Traders can now accept in-app payments directly through the BHIM app, making transactions faster and eliminating the need for customers to use separate apps.
BHIM 3.0: A Step Toward Digital India
NPCI’s non-executive chairman, Ajay Kumar Chaudhary, mentioned that BHIM 3.0 is another significant step toward India’s digital economy.
NBSL CEO, Lalita Nataraj, highlighted that the update was designed with the needs of Indians in mind, ensuring that digital payments are safe and easy for everyone.
