The Namo Didi Drone Yojana offers an 80% subsidy to women self-help groups to purchase drones and related equipment.
This subsidy can cover up to 8 lakh rupees. The government is also providing a drone agriculture kit with various tools to make farming easier.
This kit includes a drone, a spray mechanism for medicine, a basic drone, a battery set, fast charger, anemometer, pH meter, and a one-year warranty with online service
Drone Training for Women
Women members of self-help groups will receive 15 days of training on how to operate drones
and use them for farming tasks. This training will ensure they can use the technology effectively.
