Eight major post offices in the state will now remain open seven days a week, including public holidays. These centers will also offer a 24-hour booking facility.
With this change, people can now use important postal services—speed post, parcel delivery, document sending, and money-related services—at any time of the day.
Earlier, customers had to delay their work because post offices stayed closed on weekends and holidays.
