The IPO market is heating up this week with seven companies opening their public offerings between March 23-27.
From a rice exporter to a pharmaceutical firm and a power solutions provider, investors have plenty to watch.
This week’s lineup includes three mainboard IPOs and four SME (small and medium enterprise) issues.
In addition, four companies are set to debut on the stock exchanges.
Mainboard IPOs to Watch
Sai Parenteral
Sai Parenteral, a pharmaceutical formulations company, will open its IPO from March 24-27.
The price band is set at Rs 372-392 per share, aiming to raise Rs 408.79 crore.
The funds will be used to:
Expand and upgrade manufacturing facilities
Set up a new R&D centre
Pay down debt
Meet working capital needs
Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar
For investors interested in the food sector, Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) IPO will also run from March 24-27.
This is a fresh issue of 2.08 crore shares, totaling around Rs 440 crore.
The proceeds will mainly fund working capital requirements and general corporate expenses.
The price band is Rs 201-212 per share, with a lot size of 70 shares.
Powerica
Powerica, a power solutions provider, will raise Rs 1,100 crore through its IPO, also open from March 24-27.
This includes Rs 700 crore fresh issue and Rs 400 crore offer-for-sale.
Of the fresh issue funds, Rs 525 crore will be used to reduce debt, while the rest will support general corporate purposes.
Price per share is set at Rs 375–395.
SME IPOs on the Radar
Alongside mainboard IPOs, four SME issues are scheduled this week:
Tipco Engineering India: Rs 60.55 crore issue, March 23-25, lot size 3,200 shares
Highness Microelectronics: March 24-27, lot size 2,400 shares
Vivid Electromech: March 25-30
Emiac Technologies: March 27-April 8, price band and lot size yet to be announced
These smaller IPOs provide investors a chance to participate in emerging companies at an early stage.
