5 Motorola Smartphones on Android Update List

Samsung and Google have changed how software updates are handled by providing seven Android updates.

This quick release of updates makes these brands popular among people who want long-term support for their smartphones.

Other brands are now also changing their update policies to keep up.

Motorola’s New Update Policy

Motorola, which previously offered only three Android upgrades, has now increased its support to five years of updates.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo, launched in India in September, was the first phone from Motorola to receive this extended software support.

Recently, Motorola announced two new phones, the Moto G75 and Motorola ThinkPhone 25, which will also get five Android updates.

This shows that Motorola is moving in the right direction.

Although there is still a significant difference in the number of Android updates offered by Motorola compared to Google

and Samsung, this new policy is a big step up from what Motorola used to provide.

For example, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, one of the company’s more expensive phones, only comes with three Android updates, while the mid-range Moto G75 will receive five.

Motorola fans will likely appreciate this long-term software support. However, it’s worth noting that older Motorola phones will not benefit from these additional Android upgrades.
