Yamaha Motor India has introduced the 2025 model of its popular FZ-S Fi bike, priced at around Rs 1.25 lakh ex-showroom.
The new model sees a price increase of approximately Rs 3,600 compared to the previous version.
Interestingly, both the old and new models will be available, giving customers the option to choose between them.
Key Changes in the 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi
The 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi features a fresh look with new graphics and color schemes, now available in black and gray.
Additionally, the bike’s indicators have been moved to the side shrouds of the tank, giving it a cleaner, more minimalist appearance at the front.
Despite these updates, the bike retains the same technical specifications as the previous model, including telescopic forks at the front, a monoshock rear suspension, disc brakes on both wheels, LED lighting,
and 17-inch alloy wheels. The LCD digital meter and phone connectivity features are also carried over.
Updated Engine for 2025 Model
The engine of the 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi has been updated to comply with OBD-2B norms.
However, the power output remains unchanged, with the bike continuing to use the 149cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine.
This engine delivers 12.2 bhp of power and 13.3 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Competition in the 150-160cc Segment
The Yamaha FZ-S Fi competes in the 150-160cc segment of the Indian market, facing rivals such as the Bajaj Pulsar, TVS Apache RTR 160, and Honda Unicorn.
