MG Motor India has introduced the 2025 version of its popular MG Comet EV. This updated electric car brings new safety
and comfort features, along with a more powerful range of 229 km. The car is priced starting at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an affordable option in the EV market.
New Features for Safety and Comfort
The 2025 MG Comet EV comes with several new features designed to improve safety and comfort.
These include a rear parking camera for easier parking, and electronically adjustable power folding ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors).
Additionally, the car is equipped with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), which helps keep the car stable on tough roads. It also features an Electronic Parking Brake System, making parking easier.
A new feature, called Creep Mode, allows the car to move slowly as soon as the brake is released. This makes driving in traffic more comfortable and convenient.
Battery and Range
The 2025 MG Comet EV comes with a 17.4 kWh battery in its fast-charging variants.
This battery offers a range of about 230 km on a single charge. MG is also offering an 8-year or 1.2 lakh km warranty on the battery.
