Every Indian dreams of traveling to Europe, but the high cost often forces most people to put it off their list. However, Indian Railways has provided an opportunity to fulfill this dream.
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a tour package that will depart from several cities across the country, including Lucknow and Delhi,
and will include a tour of seven European countries. IRCTC has named this package “United India.”
According to information available on the IRCTC website, a special international tour package to Europe has been prepared for the summer vacation of April and May 2026.
This time, a glimpse of “United India” will be seen on European soil, as travelers from different parts of the country travel together as one group.
IRCTC Jaipur’s Additional General Manager, Yogendra Singh Gurjar, said that tourists from cities like Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Indore, Delhi (including Chandigarh and Lucknow), Kochi, Ernakulam, Bengaluru,
and Jaipur will join this package through IRCTC and travel to Europe as a united Indian group.
How Many Days Will the Tour Last?
He said that travelers from different states, languages, and cultures will stay together like a family for 13 days and present the message of India’s “Unity in Diversity” on an international platform.
The Additional General Manager said that IRCTC has scheduled two special departures for this Europe tour:
April 26 to May 8, 2026
May 24 to June 5, 2026
Only 20 seats have been reserved for each departure, ensuring a well-organized and premium group travel experience.
Which Places Will Travelers Visit?
Yogendra Singh Gurjar informed that this is a 12-night and 13-day tour covering several iconic destinations:
France (Paris)
Belgium (Brussels)
Netherlands (Amsterdam)
Germany (Cologne and Mannheim)
Switzerland (Jungfrau and Rhine Falls)
Austria (Innsbruck)
Italy (Venice, Pisa, Rome, and Milan)
The last date for booking has been fixed as March 20, 2026, for the April departure and April 15, 2026, for the May departure. Booking will be done on a “first come, first served” basis.

All passengers are advised to book the tour package only through the official website. In case of fraud through any other source, the Railways will not be responsible.
Apart from the European tour, the IRCTC website also offers tour packages for several international destinations as well as various domestic travel packages across India.
