Telecom company Vodafone-Idea has surprised its users by removing the free Vi Movies & TV subscription from all its plans.
It is believed that Vodafone-Idea made this change to boost the number of users subscribing to its paid services.
Previously, users enjoyed free access to many OTT apps with a single login, a benefit that was well-liked.
According to a report by Telecom Talk, this benefit is no longer available on the company’s website or app.
Introducing the Vi MTV Pro Subscription
Vodafone-Idea is now offering the Vi MTV Pro plan to its users. To subscribe, users will need to pay Rs 202 per month, totaling over Rs 2400 annually.
Unfortunately, there are no discounts for annual subscribers. The Vi MTV Pro plan provides free access to 14 OTT apps, including Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Fancode, Hungama, and Chaupal.
New Rs 904 Unlimited Plan
Vodafone-Idea has also launched a new unlimited plan priced at Rs 904.
This plan offers 2GB of data per day for internet use, unlimited calling, and 100 free SMS messages daily.
Additional benefits include the Binge All Night feature, which provides unlimited data usage from midnight to 6 am, and the Data Delights benefit, offering up to 2GB of additional data for free every month.
The Rs 904 plan also includes a free subscription to Prime Video Lite and has a validity of 90 days.
