If you are planning to buy a new Vivo smartphone, this update is important for you. According to popular tipster Abhishek Yadav, Vivo has increased the prices of several of its popular smartphones starting April 21.

The price hike goes up to ₹4,000 on some models. However, the new prices have not yet been updated on e-commerce platforms.

This means you may still be able to grab these phones at older, lower prices for a limited time.

The price increase affects a wide range of devices, including budget, mid-range, and premium smartphones.

Which Vivo Phones Have Become Expensive?

Vivo has revised prices for several popular models. These include the Vivo T5x, Vivo V70 Elite, Vivo V70, Vivo Y400, Vivo Y51 Pro, and Vivo Y31 5G.

These price changes impact multiple variants across storage and RAM options.

Vivo T5x Sees Biggest Price Jump

The Vivo T5x has received one of the highest price hikes. All its variants are now up to ₹4,000 more expensive.

The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, earlier priced at ₹18,999, is now ₹22,999. The 8GB + 128GB variant now costs ₹24,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version is priced at ₹26,999.

Vivo V70 Series Also Gets Costlier

Both the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 have become ₹4,000 more expensive.

The V70 Elite now starts at ₹55,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, while the 12GB variant costs ₹59,999. The standard V70 is now priced at ₹49,999 for 8GB + 256GB and ₹53,999 for the 12GB version.

Vivo Y Series Prices Increased

The Vivo Y400 and Vivo Y51 Pro have also seen price hikes between ₹3,000 and ₹4,000.

The Y400 now costs ₹28,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and ₹31,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The Y51 Pro variants are now around ₹3,000 more expensive than before.

Vivo Y31 5G Price Update

The Vivo Y31 5G has also become costlier. Its base variant has increased by ₹1,000, while other variants have seen hikes of up to ₹3,000.

Why Did Vivo Increase Prices?

Vivo has not officially explained the price hike. However, experts believe it is due to rising manufacturing costs, higher chipset prices, and ongoing supply chain challenges.

In addition, the weakening rupee against the dollar and global market trends may have also contributed to the increase.

If you were planning to buy a Vivo phone, this could be your last chance to get it at a lower price before the new rates are fully applied everywhere.
