At the moment, the beta update is available only in South Korea, the United States, and India. Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to more Galaxy smartphones in the coming months.

OneUI 9 Brings New Features and Design Changes

Samsung has introduced several upgrades with OneUI 9 to improve the user experience.

The Samsung Notes app is getting a major refresh with new decorative tape effects and additional pen styles for note-taking.

The Contacts app has also been updated and now offers direct access to Creative Studio, allowing users to create custom profile cards without switching between apps.

The Quick Panel has been redesigned as well. Users can now separately control brightness, media playback, and sound settings. Samsung has also added more layout and size customization options, giving users greater control over how the panel looks.

For users who connect a mouse to their device, OneUI 9 introduces adjustable mouse-key speed settings for smoother cursor movement.

Better Security and More Device Support

Security is another major focus of the new update. OneUI 9 can now detect potentially harmful apps, block risky installations, and warn users about possible security threats before they cause problems.

The beta program is currently available for:

Galaxy S26

Galaxy S26 Plus

Galaxy S26 Ultra

Samsung may later expand the beta program to more devices, including:

Galaxy S25 series
