Managing separate reward points for flights and hotels is now becoming much easier. IndiGo and global hotel group Accor have announced a new partnership that will let customers use their reward points across both platforms.
With this move, travelers can convert flight reward points into hotel rewards and hotel points into flight rewards, making travel benefits more flexible than ever before.
Convert Flight Points into Hotel Rewards
IndiGo’s BluChip loyalty program and Accor’s ALL (Accor Live Limitless) loyalty program have signed a strategic partnership.
Members of both programs will be able to earn, exchange, and redeem reward points on each other’s platforms.
For example, if you earn BluChip points after booking an IndiGo flight, you can convert those points into Accor ALL points and use them for hotel stays, dining, or other hotel services.
Similarly, points earned by staying at an Accor hotel can be converted into BluChip points and used to book IndiGo flights.
Who Will Benefit the Most?
This partnership is expected to be most useful for people who travel regularly. Business travelers, frequent flyers,
and families who take multiple trips each year will be able to get more value from their reward points instead of keeping separate balances for flights and hotels.
A Large Travel Network
IndiGo operates flights to more than 140 domestic and international destinations. On the other hand, Accor has 45+ hotel brands across many countries, giving travelers a wide range of options for both flights and accommodation.
What the Companies Said
IndiGo’s Chief Digital and Information Officer, Neetan Chopra, said the partnership will create a more connected travel experience by linking flights and hotels through one rewards system.
Ranju Alex, CEO of Accor South Asia, said the partnership will offer customers better value, personalized benefits, and an improved overall travel experience.
Why This Partnership Matters
The agreement is one of India’s first major partnerships that allows two-way reward point exchange between an airline and a hotel group.
Instead of offering only flight or hotel bookings, both companies are now focusing on creating a complete travel experience.
Travelers will be able to use their loyalty points more freely, making every trip more rewarding and convenient.
