Independence Day is getting closer, and smartphone brands are preparing several new launches.
Along with special shopping sales and discounts, buyers will also get to see some exciting new phones entering the market.
Between August 10 and August 16, several smartphones are expected to launch in India and China.
The list includes the Google Pixel 11 series, Realme 16X 5G, Redmi K100 Pro series and iQOO Neo 11 Ultra.
iQOO Neo 11 Ultra – August 10
The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra is expected to launch in China on August 10.
According to leaks, the smartphone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, paired with 16GB RAM and Android 16.
One of its biggest highlights could be its huge 9,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging. The phone is also expected to feature a 6.83-inch 2K OLED display and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Redmi K100 Pro – August 11
The Redmi K100 Pro is set to launch in China on August 11. The smartphone is expected to feature an attractive Glowing Firefly design, with a back panel that can glow in the dark.
It will reportedly use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V processor and feature a powerful 200MP camera. The camera is expected to support telephoto macro photography and lossless crop zoom.
The phone could pack an 8,580mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It is also expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display.
Redmi K100 Pro Max – August 11
The Redmi K100 Pro Max is also scheduled to launch in China on August 11. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and pack a massive 9,070mAh battery.
The phone is expected to support 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and reverse charging.
For photography, Redmi could offer a 200MP camera with up to 100x zoom.
The smartphone may also feature a large 6.9-inch OLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate and a dedicated D2 graphics chip for improved gaming performance.
Realme 16X 5G – August 12
The Realme 16X 5G is expected to launch in India on August 12 and could be priced around ₹25,000.
The smartphone may come with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and a large VC cooling system.
With Dynamic RAM technology, it could offer up to 14GB of usable RAM.
Another major highlight is its 7,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The phone could also feature a 6.8-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and an IP65 rating.
Google Pixel 11 – August 12
Google is expected to introduce its new Pixel 11 series in India on August 12. The standard Pixel 11 could feature Google’s new Tensor G6 processor and run Android 17.
Leaks suggest the phone may come with a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could feature a 50MP dual rear camera setup and a 12MP selfie camera.
The Pixel 11 is also expected to pack a battery of around 5,000mAh. A redesigned camera module with a ring light could give the phone a fresh look.
Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL – August 12
The premium Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are also expected to arrive on August 12. The Pro XL could feature a large display measuring up to 7 inches.
Both phones may use LTPO OLED displays and Google’s Tensor G6 processor with Android 17.
Camera upgrades could be another major attraction. Leaks suggest a 50MP main camera, 48MP ultrawide camera and 64MP periscope telephoto camera. A 42MP or 48MP front camera could also be offered.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold – August 12
Google’s next foldable smartphone, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, is also expected to launch in India on August 12.
The foldable could feature an 8-inch main OLED display and a 6.3-inch cover screen, with both supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to run on the Tensor G6 chipset.
For cameras, the phone could offer a 50MP main sensor, an ultrawide camera and a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. A 13MP selfie camera may be available on both displays.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with Qi2 wireless charging support.
