Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Honor, is poised to make a comeback in India with the launch of its first device, the Honor Pad X9.
The company’s absence in the Indian market has led to a decline in its userbase, prompting the need for a new device to regain traction.
Leaked specifications of the global variant of the Honor Pad X9, shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, hint at an impressive tablet.
The device is expected to boast an 11.5-inch 2K IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 685 processor.
A substantial 7250 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging and Android 13 support promises extended usage time.
Photography enthusiasts can expect a 5MP camera on both the front and back of the tablet.
Additionally, the device will feature WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and six speakers for enhanced audio experiences.
Although the official launch date remains undisclosed, rumors suggest that the Honor Pad X9 might hit the market on August 1.
In related news, Realme has recently launched the Realme Pad 2 in India.
The tablet comes in two storage variants, with prices starting at Rs 19,999 for the 6/128GB version and Rs 22,999 for the 8/256GB variant.
Sporting an 11.5-inch 2K IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the Realme Pad 2 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and equipped with an 8360mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging.
For photography, an 8MP rear camera is available.
The tablet is set to go on sale via Flipkart starting from August 1.
