Honor 90 with 200 Megapixel Primary Camera Set to Make Its Debut in India

After a hiatus of three years, Honor is making a grand re-entry into the Indian market with its anticipated Honor 90 Series.

Positioned as a mid-premium smartphone, the lineup includes the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro models, which were initially launched in China earlier this year.

Sporting a powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and a remarkable 200MP primary camera, Honor’s new offerings are poised to challenge the supremacy of Xiaomi and other competitors.

Honor 90 Price and Competitors:

In China, the 12GB + 256GB variant of the Honor 90 was priced at approximately 29,000 rupees.

In India, sources indicate that the pricing could be around Rs. 35,000, while other reports suggest it might be around 45,000 rupees.

The Honor 90 Series will enter the ring against smartphones like OnePlus Nord 3 5G, iQOO Neo 7 Pro, Poco F5 5G, OnePlus 11R, Oppo Reno 10 Pro, and Nothing Phone (2).

Strategic Leadership and Market Entry:

Honor’s return to the Indian market is under the stewardship of former Realme CEO, Madhav Sheth.

The brand has forged a partnership with PSAV Global, leveraging a robust distribution network comprising over 5,000 retailers across more than 100 cities.

The imminent launch of the Honor 90 Series in India is eagerly anticipated.

Distinctive Features and Specifications:

Differentiating between the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro lies in their display sizes.

The Honor 90 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED 120Hz quad-curved display, while the Honor 90 features a slightly larger 6.78-inch FHD+ OLED 120Hz quad-curved display.

Under the hood, the Honor 90 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, whereas the Honor 90 Pro features the more robust Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Camera Capabilities and Battery Power:

Both models deliver an enhanced photography experience. Equipped with a 200MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, the Honor 90 also includes a 2MP depth camera.

The Honor 90 Pro further enhances its photography prowess with a 32MP telephoto camera for superior zoom capabilities.

Additionally, both models incorporate a 50MP front camera, elevating selfie and video call quality.

The Honor 90 Pro introduces an extra 2MP secondary front camera for even more enriched selfie-taking.

Powered by substantial batteries, both models offer impressive battery life.

The vanilla model supports 66W fast charging, while the Pro model boasts an impressive 90W fast charging capability, ensuring quick and convenient recharges.
