People are switching to BSNL to avoid the high costs of recharge plans from private companies.
In response, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced exciting updates.
The company will soon offer high-speed internet to all its users. Additionally, there’s important news about BSNL’s 5G internet service.
BSNL’s 5G and 4G Plans
According to a report, BSNL plans to launch its 5G service by the end of 2025. The company is expected to roll out its 4G service by March 2025,
and about eight months after that, they will begin working on 5G. BSNL aims to capture around 25% of the customer market by the end of 2025.
Private Companies Raise Prices
In July, private telecom companies like Jio, Airtel, and VI increased their recharge plan prices by 10% to 27%.
Because of these price hikes, many customers are moving to the government-owned BSNL, which offers more affordable plans. BSNL is also introducing new offers to attract users.
BSNL’s New Affordable Plan
BSNL has introduced a new plan costing Rs 91, which is valid for 90 days. This means users get one day of validity for just 1 rupee.
This plan is ideal for those who want to keep their number active. Under this plan, calls cost 15 paise per minute, and 1MB of data is available for 1 paisa.
