Samsung Galaxy A08 has been launched in India with a 6,000mAh battery, a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 6.7-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The new Samsung phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset and runs on One UI 9 based on Android 16.
Samsung is also focusing on long-term software support. The company says the Galaxy A08 is eligible for six OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
Samsung Galaxy A08 Price and Availability
Samsung Galaxy A08 is priced at Rs 18,499 for the sole variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone is available in Dark Blue, Green and Silver colour options.
The handset can be purchased through Samsung Exclusive Stores, partner retailers, Samsung.com and other online platforms.
Samsung is also offering zero-interest EMI for up to six months on eligible bank cards and up to nine months through NBFC partners.

Samsung Galaxy A08 comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset and gets 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage.
The storage can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. For data security, the phone also gets Samsung Knox protection for sensitive information such as passwords and biometric data.
The Galaxy A08 runs One UI 9 based on Android 16. Samsung says the phone will receive six OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
The phone also supports features including Circle to Search 3.0, Gemini and Perplexity.
Users can access Gemini and Perplexity through voice commands or by long-pressing the power button. It also supports Galaxy ecosystem features such as Quick Share and Modes and Routines.
Galaxy A08 Gets 50MP Camera
For photography, the Samsung Galaxy A08 has a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
6000mAh Battery With 25W Charging
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A08 with a 6,000mAh battery. The battery supports 25W fast charging.
The phone is 8mm thick and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. It also has an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water.
