If you were planning to buy a new OPPO smartphone, you may have to spend more than before. OPPO has increased the prices of several popular models, including the A6, A6 Pro, F33, and F33 Pro series.
According to reports, the price hike goes up to ₹3,000 on some variants.
The move comes at a time when many smartphone brands are raising prices due to higher manufacturing costs, expensive memory chips, and supply chain challenges.
OPPO A6 Pro Gets a ₹3,000 Price Hike
The OPPO A6 Pro has become significantly more expensive across both storage variants.
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, which was earlier priced at ₹23,999, will now cost ₹26,999.
Similarly, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant has seen its price rise from ₹26,999 to ₹29,999.
This means buyers will now have to pay ₹3,000 extra regardless of the variant they choose.
OPPO A6 5G Prices Increased Across All Variants
The OPPO A6 5G series has also received a price hike of ₹2,000 on every variant.
The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model now costs ₹17,499 instead of ₹15,499.
The 6GB RAM + 128GB variant has become costlier from ₹16,999 to ₹18,999.
Meanwhile, the top-end 6GB RAM + 256GB model now carries a price tag of ₹22,999, up from ₹20,999.
Customers looking at the A6 5G lineup will therefore need to budget an additional ₹2,000.
OPPO F33 Series Also Costs More Now
The OPPO F33 series has not been spared from the latest price revision.
The base F33 model was launched at ₹31,999 but is now priced at around ₹34,999, reflecting a hike of nearly ₹3,000.
Other variants in the lineup have also become more expensive, with revised prices reaching up to ₹39,999 depending on the storage option.
OPPO F33 Pro Buyers Will Pay More
The OPPO F33 Pro series has also become costlier.
The smartphone was originally launched with a starting price of ₹37,999. After the latest revision, the price has increased to around ₹40,999.
This marks a price hike of approximately ₹3,000, making the premium model more expensive for new buyers.
Why Are Smartphone Prices Rising?
Over the past few months, several smartphone brands have increased prices across different product categories.
Industry experts believe the trend is mainly driven by rising production costs, higher memory chip prices, and ongoing supply chain pressures.
As a result, customers planning to upgrade their phones may find that many popular models now cost more than they did just a few months ago.
