If you own a car and are planning to buy a FASTag Annual Pass, this information is very important for you. Even a small mistake can cost you up to ₹3,000.
Cyber criminals have found a new way to cheat people who are trying to buy FASTag Annual Passes. Due to this rising fraud, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a warning for vehicle owners.
FASTag Annual Pass Available Only on Rajmargyatra App
According to NHAI, many fake websites and links are claiming to sell FASTag Annual Passes with one-year validity.
However, NHAI has clearly stated that FASTag Annual Passes can be purchased only through the official Rajmargyatra mobile app.
These passes are not available on any other website, app, or link. If someone offers you a FASTag Annual Pass through a website or sends you a link, you should be very careful.
Such offers are fake, and falling for them can lead to financial loss and misuse of your personal details.
NHAI Warning Shared on X (Formerly Twitter)
NHAI also shared an official warning through a post on X. In the post, NHAI cautioned national highway users against fake websites and unauthorized links claiming to sell FASTag Annual Passes.
NHAI clearly mentioned that only the official Rajmargyatra (HighwayYatra) app is authorized to sell FASTag Annual Passes.
Any other platform offering these passes is fake and may lead to financial fraud or misuse of personal information.
To stay safe, NHAI advised users to:
Avoid clicking on unknown or suspicious links
Not share vehicle or FASTag details with unknown sources
Always use the official Rajmargyatra app for purchasing FASTag Annual Passes
