Apple has released an important security update for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users.
The company has rolled out iOS 26.6.1, iPadOS 26.6.1,
and macOS Tahoe 26.6.2 to improve device security and protect users from cyber threats.
The latest update fixes 29 security vulnerabilities, making it one of Apple’s most important security releases this year. Interestingly, some of these issues were discovered with the help of AI.
Third Security Update in Just Three Weeks
This is the third major security update Apple has released in the last three weeks.

AI Helped Find Several Security Flaws
One of the biggest highlights of this update is that nine of the 29 security vulnerabilities were identified using OpenAI Codex Security.

Most Problems Were Found in WebKit
Out of the 29 security issues, 21 were linked to WebKit, the browser engine used by Safari and many Apple apps.

That is why Apple is strongly recommending users install the latest update.
Apple has also released iOS 18.7.10 and iPadOS 18.7.10 for older iPhone and iPad models that do not support iOS 26 or iPadOS 26.
